Jingzhou is mainly made up of plain area, 20-50meters above sea level, and a relative altitude below 20 meters. Hilly area isdistributed along the old city, Wangjiaqiao, and Sijiachang of Songzi,Chuandian, Baling of Jingzhou District, and Taohua Mountain of Shishou, with analtitude of 100-500 meters and relative altitude of 50-100 meters. The lowmountains are mainly distributed along the southwest of Songzi, with an altitudeabout 500 meters.
